Hitler – Great Or Hate?
The birth of an innocent child took place on the evening of April 20, 1889. The city of his birth was Braunau Am Inn in Austria. The name of the child-Adolf Hitler. He was the son of a customs officer Alois Hitler and his third wife Klara.
Lots of amazing but true facts are related to this innocent child turned into the cruellest and most hated man in the history of the world. Some of the relevant ones are given below:
• Hitler is considered one of the most infamous personalities in world history, who ruled Germany for 13 years i.e. from 1933 to 1945.
• He married his longtime mistress Eva Braun. They committed suicide less than two days after their wedding.
• In 1938, he was chosen to be the “man of the year” by the Times Magazine.
• A decorated World War I veteran, Hitler joined the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, also known as the Nazi Party, in 1920 and became its leader in 1921.
• In less than three years of his reign, he took control of most of Europe; large parts of Africa; East and Southeast Asia; and the Pacific Ocean.
• During his nine-month imprisonment, Hitler wrote his political cum autobiography entitled “Mein Kampf” (My Struggle).
• Much violence was committed by his forces during World War II. This included the killing of 17 million civilians.
• He has never applied perfume to his body.
• He never came in public without his coat; no matter how hot it felt.
• He used to watch a movie every day in his private cinema. Most of them were foreign films banned from German audiences.
• He had a strange habit of pacing around rooms. This habit is followed by his trait of whistling the same tune to himself over and over again.
• He also had weird sexual habits. In fact, he had sex with his niece (however, the relationship did not go smoothly as she ended up killing herself).
Adolf Hitler became one of the most despised leaders in world history. Although he is remembered to this day, but not as a great personality.
